We are passionate about working with period homes
and listed buildings.
We specialise in high quality conversions, extensions and adaptations of historic buildings of all types and sizes.
All staff undergo training in the special knowledge and skills required to work with these special properties.
Passivhaus Buildings
Energy efficiency, comfort and healthy internal environments should be automatic. However, too many buildings, new and old, fail to gets these basics right.
This is straightforward in new buildings; we work to passivhaus standards where possible to ensure clients can enjoy the best living conditions, and low utility bills. This is more complex in period properties but much can still be done to provide comfortable and energy efficient spaces.
Preparation and briefing
All projects will benefit from an initial period of analysis and investigation.
For example it is vital to understand the significance of a heritage building; analysis of this significance will not only help produce a better scheme but also ease ones relationship with planning departments and conservation officers.

Technical Design and Construction
In the construction supervision phase, we perform quality management at the building site based on contract documentation and carry out inspections before completion.
Handover and in-use
We can offer services following completion of works on site. Many buildings will benefit from planned maintenance, monitoring and re-evaluation. We can work with you to get the best from you property, and help you enjoy it into the future
